North Shore Heritage Map : Maritime Coast

Safe harbors and deep-water ports gave rise to working waterfront communities in the center of the North Shore. Port Jefferson anchors the Maritime Coast. Its gateway is LIE Exit 56 on State Route 111 in Hauppauge.
