The Long Island North Shore Heritage Area Management Plan was prepared for the LINSHA Planning Commission by peter j. smith & company, inc., Buffalo NY. It was prepared for the NY Department of State with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund. Additional funds and services were provided by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the Natural Heritage Trust, the NYS Senate, the Town of Huntington, generous donations from private sources, and valuable contributions from many officials, organizations and citizens.
